FSAE Vehicle FEA Analysis

FEA.png

Pressure distribution over vehicle aerodynamic surfaces is caused by the incoming rush of air as it traverses through the track. This analysis provides information to identify areas of high pressure and the state of the vehicle at a certain speed.

FSAE Vehicle CFD Analysis

CFD.png

Velocity distribution over the aerodynamic surfaces depicts the airflow path as it traverses over the vehicle. The results from this analysis allow the modification of aerodynamic surfaces to redirect airflow to desired components.

Baseball bat Modal and Transient Analysis

Modal Response of baseball bat.png

Modal analysis of stainless steel baseball bat for the first few natural frequencies to determine its vibrational response. The location that reduces deformation on the handle when hitting an incoming ball can also be determined by analyzing the transient deformation response.

Bladed disk Optimization and Structural Analysis

Untitled design (1).png

Aluminum Bladed disk optimization analysis to minimize the weight of the structure and manage rotating at higher RPM around the hub without failing below the required factor of safety.

Pressure Vessel Analysis

Pressure Vessel Analysis.png

Symmetric analysis of structural steel pressure vessel using 3D body and 2D axisymmetric model to determine the hoop, radial, and longitudinal stress across the whole and portions of the vessel.

Spur Gear structural Analysis

Spur Contact analysis.png

Analysis of the deformation and Von-Mises stress experienced by the contact point of the driving and driven gear teeth.
